Tom Jakob is a visual artist and writer based in Richmond, Virginia. He is compelled by the haves and have-nots between rural and urban America. His multi-disciplinary work focuses on how humans interact with their physical surroundings and infrastructure to build communities, class consciousness, and social welfare.
